Rachel Garza

Profile

Rachel Garza is an Associate at Davis & Santos. While her practice is diverse, Rachel focuses on representing individuals, financial institutions as well as other business entities in civil litigation, fiduciary litigation, white-collar criminal defense and appeals.

Prior to joining Davis & Santos, Rachel served as a public defender with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid, Inc. As a public defender, her practice focused on defending hundreds of individuals charged with state misdemeanor and felony offenses at both the trial and appellate levels. Within her first year of practice, Rachel presented oral argument before the San Antonio Fourth Court of Appeals, sitting en banc.

While in law school, Rachel serves as an intern for Justice Liza A. Rodriguez at the Fourth Court of Appeals and an intern for Judge Brenda Hull Thompson at the Dallas County Probate Court. Rachel was a member of the nationally ranked moot court team at St. Mary’s University School of Law. Rachel also served as a staff writer on The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice.
