Gabriela Justice is an associate at Davis & Santos, where her practice is centered on civil and commercial litigation, as well as transactional matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Gaby gained valuable experience handling family and business immigration, estate planning, and business litigation matters, while providing assistance to Spanish-speaking clients.

During law school, Gaby served as a student attorney for the St. Mary’s Immigration and Human Rights Clinic. In this role, she traveled to detention centers to prepare women for their credible fear interviews and led Charla sessions in Spanish.

Gaby also served as a law clerk for the Brownsville City Attorney’s Office, where she supported city contract negotations and assisted with trials in Municipal and Juvenile Court. She also co-authored a Texas Bar CLE paper on excessive force claims involving arrestees, pretrial detainees, and prisoners.

Additionally, Gaby received the “Excellence in Writing Award Best of All Sections” from the St. Mary’s Law Journal, an award given to the top brief in the entire first-year class. She worked as a Teaching Assistant for the first-year legal research and writing course, where she led writing workshops and provided guidance to students to help refine their skills.

Elected Vice-Chair of the St. Mary’s Board of Advocates, Gaby helped coordinate advocacy competitions and was recognized with the Litigation and Advocacy Award for her professionalism and contributions to the school’s achievements in both internal and external competitions.
