James Dingivan

Profile

James Dingivan is Senior Counsel with Davis & Santos. His practice focuses on federal trial and appellate litigation, government investigations, and regulatory compliance. He joins the firm after seven years with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas and almost thirteen years in federal service.

While with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, James handled a wide range of matters from programmatic litigation on behalf of the federal government, civil rights investigations, tort claims, and employment discrimination. He also gained extensive experience handling False Claims Act matters.

After graduating from law school, James joined the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. He served on active duty from 2009 until 2014 in a variety of roles, including as a prosecutor, assistant general counsel at the United States Air Force Academy, and a criminal defense attorney. He also deployed to Afghanistan, where he served at NATO Headquarters in Kabul. He remains with the Air Force Reserves as a Lieutenant Colonel, assigned to the 374th Airlift Wing at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo, Japan.
